Does CJNH take patients for post-hospital care and rehabilitation?
- We offer a staff of physical, occupational and speech therapists for post-hospital rehabilitation
Will residents have a roommate?
- Most of our rooms accommodate two residents
- We try our best to match your loved one with a compatible roommate
What belongings can a resident bring?
- Our residents may bring essentials, mementos, clothing, pictures, decorations and small items
- We provide a closet, dresser and bedside table in every room
Can a resident bring a TV?
- A television with a stand is fine as we provide free cable hook up
What about a telephone?
- You may provide a telephone and subscribe to the service of your choice for a small fee
Who will be my loved one’s doctor?
- We offer a team of physicians from which you may choose
- Nurse practitioners are available to assess and treat residents under a physician’s supervision
What about end of life care?
- Our end of life care is compassionate and respectful of the beliefs of each resident. Hospice care is provided either through our affiliated Dr. Matthew S. Shwartz Hospice or through an unaffiliated hospice agency.
Will CJNH arrange for aftercare once rehabilitation is complete?
- Our team will work with you after discharge to set up any necessary services, including:
