Short-Term Rehabilitation Residences
The Leonard Florence Center features three houses dedicated to serving individuals for short-term rehabilitation. Complete with in-house therapy gyms, the short-term residences provide the ideal rehabilitative environment post-hospitalization.
In-house therapists, from Chelsea Jewish Therapy Services, provide physical, occupational and speech-language therapies. Residents are able to develop a care plan and regimen that suits their needs and schedules at the Center, which provides individualized treatment and services.
The urban Green House® home is an ideal space to focus on mobility and socialization, through it's 7,000 sq-ft. home space and "Main Street USA" amenities located on the first floor. Residents can enjoy time outside on the patio/deck space, frequent the in-house bakery and deli, or retreat to our on-site spa and salon.

I believe in the work that the Foundation does because it believes in creating a better system, better facility, better program for the future. That matters to me.
I knew my mother would be well-taken care of at any facility that was under the Foundation, because of the reputation. And I was right.
This organization doesn’t treat my dad like a patient, they treat him like a person. He is given the best care possible, and it’s because they believe in treating the whole person, not just the illness.
I began volunteering at Foundation’s Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home and realized what a special place this was. Residents are happy, and the staff care. I enjoyed being here, too.
